TAMPA — There is no telling when the U.S. Department of Transportation will decide which airports will host commercial flights to Cuba or when they’ll ❖ ❖ ❖ begin. The application process ended last week and an announcement could come in days, weeks or months. Still, Tampa can be certain it will see more flights to Cuba start soon. Beginning April 25, charter flight company Island Travel & Tours will fly to Cuba from the Tampa International Airport four times a week.
